Brock Lesnar’s days on the WWE Raw roster are coming to an end

The WWE Draft is still a few weeks away but the latest dates announced for Brock Lesnar are a strong indication that he will be moving from Monday Night Raw to the SmackDown roster.

As previously noted, there will be a hard split with the rosters which means wrestlers will not be moving between brands after the draft. This also means (likely) that we won’t be seeing much (or not at all) Lesnar on Monday Night Raw.

In addition to his upcoming match with Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship on October 4 in Los Angeles, Lesnar is now being advertised for the following dates:

  • October 11 (WWE Draft on Friday Night SmackDown in Las Vegas)
  • October 25 (WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Kansas City)
  • November 15 (WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Philadelphia)

Lesnar is also advertised for the 9/30 “season premiere” episode of Monday Night Raw. That show will also include a Universal Championship match. Click here for more news on that show.

I am told that more Lesnar dates will be announced soon.

There were hints a few months ago in regards to Lesnar switching brands. Back in March, there were Nascar ads show on FOX and the announcers mentioned that fans could see Lesnar on Friday nights.

It’s interesting to see Lesnar advertised for so many TV dates because his previous contracts only called for a few pay-per-view appearances and a very limited amount of live events. The live event deals stipulated that his matches must be 5 minutes or less.

The dates listed above seem to indicate that Lesnar will be more of a regular presence on FOX…or at least for the first several weeks.
