Bron Breakker To John Cena: Grow Some Balls And Come Take The WWE Intercontinental Title From Me

WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker took place at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event in Cleveland, OH, on Saturday night, where Breakker went over to win the title in five minutes.

While speaking with SEScoops ahead of the bout, Breakker noted that he welcomes a match with John Cena, who is slated to retire in 2025. Bron also pointed out that Cena has never won the Intercontinental Title in his career.

Cena’s WWE in-ring retirement in 2025 was announced during Money in the Bank. He has said that he would be there when Raw moves to Netflix before saying the Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 2025 will be the last times he competes. He plans to wrestle throughout the year and wants to work 30–40 matches.

Breakker said, “John Cena. He has never won the Intercontinental Championship before. So I say come take it from me. Come take the Championship from me. Grow some balls, come take the championship from me. Let’s go. Let’s do it.”

Cena has yet to react to Breakker’s comments.
