Bruce Prichard explains why The Rock’s ‘Brahma Bull belt’ was never used on TV, comments on CM Punk

Bruce Prichard recently did a Q&A session on episode 22 of his “Something to Wrestle With” podcast. During the podcast, he talked about why The Rock’s signature ‘Brahma Bull belt’ was never used on TV. According to Prichard, the belt took to long to get made and by the time it was made, The Rock had already lost the WWE Title, so the company just kept it and never brought it out again.

When asked about former WWE Superstar CM Punk, he said that Punk probably generated more heat backstage than he did in front of the camera. He noted that he always liked Punk because he had a genuine love for the business. He said that Punk was a fan, who enjoyed the business and was different and didn’t take people’s s–t. He noted that he likes the fact that Punk stood up for himself and came into the business as a straight edge guy. He added that he took the time and tried to get to know Punk and that when you got to know him then, you found out that he was a pretty interesting guy. He said that Punk could carry himself as an assh**e. “But once you get passed all that, you find out that there’s something else behind it. And I personally like the guy. I think he’s a hell of a talent.”
