Bruce Prichard explains why WWE hasn’t booked a War Games match

Ever since WCW closed its door in 2001, fans have wanted to see WWE bring back the War Games concept. However, the company has not brought it back despite it being a fan favorite. Recently on Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard, the pro wrestling veteran conducted a fan Q&A session and among the topics he discussed was War Games.

According to Prichard, the reason that WWE has booked the match is because Vince McMahon hates double rings. He noted that he attempted to sell the two-ring battle royals to McMahon for years, but McMahon is against the idea. McMahon didn’t like for the wrestlers to go into the at intermittent times and the way it was always done with the heels having the favor of the babyfaces. He noted that then you fast forward to the Elimination Chamber, which has that kind of dynamic in it (heels having the upper hand on babyfaces or vice versa). He noted that it was just one of things as it was created in WCW and that McMahon didn’t care for it.
