WWE is doing everything they can to shake things up and get ratings up during WrestleMania season and heading into this Fall when their new TV deals start and it looks like part of WWE’s plan includes bringing in names from the past.
PWInsider is reporting that Bruce Prichard is returning full-time to the company and he will be working in a top position on the creative team. Prichard will start working this Monday when Raw heads to Atlanta, GA. We reached out to a WWE source and the news was independently confirmed to us.
Prichard’s role is described as “as important as possible” according to a company source. This would be his first time working full-time for the company since his departure in 2008. In recent years, he has become a successful podcaster with Conrad Thompson. A deal was made to bring the podcast to the WWE Network last year and there are plans for a second season of episodes.
No word on if this WWE deal will affect Prichard’s audio podcast. He is currently listed to appear at Starrcast during AEW Double Or Nothing weekend.
