Buddy Murphy recently spoke with The Herald Sun to promote NXT’s upcoming tour of Australia. During the interview, he was asked about being able to wrestle in front of his home fans. “Obviously, it’s very exciting to be able to wrestle in my hometown.” He added that he hasn’t wrestled in front of friends and family in nearly four years.
When asked about wanting to be a wrestler since he was young, he recalled one teacher while he was a junior in high school asking the class what everyone wanted to do when they grow up, and he said that he wanted to be a pro wrestler. Everyone laughed at him for saying that.
