Bully Ray is the latest wrestler to comment on the possibility of New England Patriot football player Rob Gronkowski finishing up his pro football career and signing with the WWE to make that transition.
In the past, Gronkowski has stated that he would consider a career in WWE but not in a full-time role due to him being a big WWE fan and is friends with WWE star Mojo Rawley
During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Ray stated that he thinks Gronk could be successful in the WWE if he decided to make the jump.
“He’s got the look. He’s got the energy. I think he’s passionate about it. He’s one of those athletes I think could be successful.” Ray would later state, “If you follow his journey from day one and tell the fans that you’re gonna make a legit run of this and they follow his journey then I think they have a great chance of succeeding. If they just bring him in and force feed them then you can get backlash.”
