Few people have experienced a career like Bully Ray. Whether you know him as Bubba Ray Dudley, or Bully Ray the man deserves anyone's respect for what he's been able to accomplish in and out of the ring.

Bully recently teased a retirement was on the way during ROH's Global Wars Chicago show. He said his doctors said it's not looking good and he really alluded to the fact that his in-ring career was coming to a close.

When he spoke to Busted Open Radio about this in October he said, "I’m still under contract to Ring of Honor. I actually will be at Ring of Honor on Friday for [Philadelphia Excellence] down at the ECW Arena. … I’ll be doing an autograph signing. I’ll be meeting fans. Honestly, I plan on being at the front door. The minute they open the doors at the ECW Arena, I am going to do my best to shake everybody’s hand that walks into the ECW Arena that night for Ring of Honor. That way, I can look everybody in the eye and tell them thank you.”

Since being smacked in the head with a table at ROH's Death Before Dishonor Bully's been experiencing some trouble. He said his doctors told him to stay away from lights and loud noises which kind of rules out being anywhere near a wrestling show due to all the lights and noises inherent in that kind of environment.

But Bully Ray has been announced as part of ROH's Final Battle in December where he will team with Tommy Dreamer to take on The Briscoes. If Bully was working the fans he really had everyone going because plenty of people were very worried about the should-be WWE Hall Of Famer's health.

Then again, his doctors could have always told him this but he just didn't listen. After all, you try telling a guy like Bully Ray he isn't allowed to do something he loves like pro wrestling. Hopefully, he'll be able to keep his head safe, but it looks like there will be a little dose of Hardcore Heaven at ROH's Final Battle this year.
