WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray explained on a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Busted Open radio why he thinks the company should book a certain opponent for WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35.
He thinks Kofi Kingston is the perfect opponent for Bryan at this show. This is due to the chemistry that these two stars have and showed off in the Elimination Chamber Match at Sunday’s pay-per-view event. Kofi and Bryan survived Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles to make it to the final two stars.
According to Ray, WWE should’ve put Kofi over at the show as it’s his time as the top star on the blue brand.
“I think I would have called an audible last night. The moment is now. They won’t be able to capture last night after WrestleMania. This Tuesday comes, if Kofi isn’t mentioned or doing anything with Bryan? It’s over with.”
He would continue by stating that he thinks in a few weeks, WWE can put Mustafa Ali into the storyline considering he was originally slated to compete at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
