Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez continues to express his interest in the WWE. He spoke about his visit to the WWE Performance Center down in Orlando Florida where he trained with WWE staff this past Summer.
He did so while doing a recent interview with MMA Fighting to promote his upcoming fight against title contender Francis Ngannou in the headliner of UFC on ESPN that is set to take place on Saturday, February 17, 2019 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
“Hell yeah. I am [interested in it]. The transition was pretty easy, stated the former UFC Champion. I’m pretty athletic for a big guy. I learn by watching. I’ve never been someone that sits in a classroom and learn that way.”
He would continue by stating that it would take time as he needs to be in the gym more to do that and be engulfed in it for months to be the best that he could. “I’m not looking to just do it half-assed and do some appearances. If I do it, I’m gonna do it 100 percent.”
