WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced during a backstage segment with Stephanie McMahon on Monday’s episode of RAW that Jon Stewart will appear at SummerSlam.
If you may recall, Stewart appeared as the host of SummerSlam last year and interfered in the John Cena vs. Seth Rollins match. Stewart ended up hitting Cena with a steel chair, and Rollins won the match. Stewart appeared on RAW the next night, and Cena hit him with an AA.
Stewart is best known for his time hosting Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and is a big WWE fan.
The WWE SummerSlam PPV will take place on August 21st at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The show will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets.
