– As seen on this week’s SmackDown Live, Daniel Bryan announced that Alexa Bliss would defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against every available woman on the SmackDown roster. It appears that Mickie James, Natalya, Carmella and Becky Lynch will be in the match as they were pitching why they deserve a championship match in the segment prior to the announcement. Since she is on the roster despite not appearing on WWE TV since last August when she failed WWE’s wellness policy, it appears that Eva Marie could be in the match. The names listed above is pure speculation as WWE has yet to announce the competitors for the match.
– Naomi, who was forced to drop the SmackDown Women’s Championship last month after suffering a knee injury, noted on Twitter recently that her knee is still not 100%, but she’s hopeful for a WrestleMania 33 appearance. She wrote, “Yes doing a lot better but I’m still going to rehab weekly knee still isn’t at 100, but I still have time to try & make mania I’m not giving up”
