On this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live, Charlotte Flair defeated Carmella to earn a spot in the Smackdown Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam. Backstage, they showed Becky Lynch watching the monitor and she didn’t look happy.
Earlier in the show, Daniel Bryan and The Miz were involved in a worked-shoot segment where both men took “personal” shots on each other. Bryan took shots at The Miz’ acting career and said he could never be The Rock or John Cena. Miz fired back and told Bryan that the “YES” movement is in the past and he should let his contract expire so he could go to the indies to perform in front of dozens of people. Bryan wants a match at SummerSlam but Miz did not accept but it looks like this match will be added soon.
