Charlotte Flair is interested in challenging Ronda Rousey for the moniker of “Baddest Woman On The Planet.” Flair was recently interviewed on ESPN’s “Get Up!” to promote tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. At one point in the conversation, NFL player Keyshawn Johnson asked Flair who in WWE she’d like to have a match with that she hasn’t already.
Flair named Stephanie McMahon and Ronda Rousey right off the bat. She noted that she believes she’s the “Baddest Woman On The Planet,” a moniker currently held by former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey:
“They keep saying she’s the toughest woman on the planet; but, I think I’m the toughest woman on the planet.”
“The Queen” then talked about the possibility of headlining a WrestleMania, and if Rousey could be her opponent for such a match. She admitted that herself vs. Rousey would be the ideal storyline for a match of that magnitude, but also said she plans on headlining WrestleMania at some point in her career regardless of the opponent:
“Headlining WrestleMania is definitely a dream of mine. Who the opponent is, it really doesn’t matter because I’m headlining WrestleMania; but, I think it would be the right story.
“She says that she’s a 4-Horsewoman and I’m like, ‘Wait, I’m a Flair. I’m blood.’ So it’s 4 on 4? I don’t know.”
