Charlotte Flair fined and indefinitely suspended by WWE

WWE has announced that Charlotte Flair has been indefinitely suspended and she has been fined $100,000 for unprofessional conduct.

This is a storyline fine and suspension based on her attacking the referee after she lost her match to Asuka in the main event of Monday Night Raw while Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was looking on from ringside.

Frustrated after her loss, she brutally attacked the referee and the story is that Flair has not been able to beat Asuka since breaking Asuka’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania a few years ago. Asuka had some help from Ripley at ringside when she defeated Flair this week.

This all seems to be leading up to a Triple Threat Match with Ripley defending against Flair and Asuka at the next pay-per-view in May or at the pay-per-view in June.
