Charlotte Flair takes issue with ESPN for introducing her as “Ric Flair’s daughter”

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair responded to ESPN over a graphic. It all took place on Wednesday when she took to her official Twitter account where she reacted to the graphic that ESPN used during her appearance on SportsCenter the previous day while promoting the main event of WrestleMania 35.

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is slated to make her next title defense against Becky Lynch and Flair in a triple threat match that will serve as the headliner of the show.

During the appearance, ESPN used graphics for Lynch and Rousey that listed some of their WWE and UFC accomplishments but for Flair they only had her listed as the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

Charlotte wrote the following:

“Dear @espn, 7x (now 8) WWE Women’s Champion would have been fine. If you need a more detailed list of my accolades, feel free to reference last year’s Body Issue or one of the many articles about me on your website. Sincerely, Daughter of @WWE HOF’er Ric Flair”

WWE will hold WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium and be broadcasted on their streaming service, WWE Network.
