Charlotte Flair on WWE Evolution 2025 (8:48-9:58)

Nikki Garcia: When you finally heard that like WWE Evolution, it’s coming back, it’s here, what was that feeling like and what does this pay-per-view mean to you?

Charlotte Flair: Well, it’s hard to think that the last one was six years ago.

Brie Garcia: 2018, right? 2018.

Charlotte Flair: Yeah. It doesn’t feel like that long ago, but it is. I think because there has been one that was extremely successful, the pressure to make the second one just as good, I think, is very important, but I think the beauty of the divisions now is, you know, evolution, the first ever all-women’s pay-per-view. People are definitely tuning in, not just because it’s an all-women’s pay-per-view. They are tuning in because they have their favorite superstars. It’s not just, “A bunch of women, we’re excited to watch them.” It’s like, “I get to see Nikki Bella, I get to see Charlotte Flair, I get to see Alexa Bliss, I get to see Rhea Ripley,” so that matters.

Charlotte Flair on pressures of continuing her father Ric Flair’s legacy (12:51-14:10)

Nikki Garcia: With you, it was different because you’re Ric Flair’s daughter, so you still came out looking like a star.

Charlotte Flair: Double-edged sword.

Nikki Garcia: Yeah, oh, for sure. It’s hard. I mean, that has to be hard, right?

Charlotte Flair: Yeah, I think where I am today versus over the last 10 years, I wish I could have navigated the pressure better with using it as my advantage. Instead, I had such a chip on my shoulder like, “No, I’m really good. No, I work really hard. I’m really talented,” but I think to have taken that bad guy persona to the next level earlier on, I could have been like, “Yeah, I don’t have to do anything. I’m his daughter.” Just owning it instead of feeling like I had to prove something and that’s still a roller coaster that I think I internalized that I don’t need to, but he’s Ric Flair and he’s still active.

Brie Garcia: But I will say, Charlotte, you have done an incredible job keeping that legacy going and I mean, I’ve seen other generational kids not do what you’ve done, so you really need to take a moment and just cheers yourself.

Charlotte Flair & Nikki Garcia discuss their dating lives (21:18-24:18)

Brie Garcia: I mean, because you’re like both looking so great and you guys are in shape, how is dating life? Are we dating? Nikki’s been up in New York by herself. I’m like, “You meet a man?”

Nikki Garcia: Okay, Brie knows this. I did a few and then I realized like, it’s just-

Brie Garcia: Like you did a few dates or you did a few men? What are we talking about?

Nikki Garcia: Yeah. Whatever you want to call it. I just realized that now I were in a different place where I have a son, so at his age right now, I get so much love that I realized this is all the love I need and want right now, so after having a few dates and wasn’t crazy about them that I was like, “I’m not even going to waste time and energy.” I’m just too tired. I have Teo and I do career, Teo and career, so that’s where I’m at. She keeps pushing me more. How about you?

Charlotte Flair: To go on more dates?

Nikki Garcia: Yes. I’m like, “Girl, I get that you get excited to hear the stories.”

Brie Garcia: You guys were just at the Fanatics weekend.

Nikki Garcia: Don’t get me wrong. There were so many good looking men there.

Brie Garcia: Yeah, and nothing?

Charlotte Flair: Really?

Nikki Garcia: Yeah. I was like, “Oh.” You didn’t think so?

Charlotte Flair: I did.

Nikki Garcia: I was like, I thought so for sure.

Brie Garcia: Charlotte, you had to see us at Super Bowl. I was like pointing out.

Nikki Garcia: Do you like athletic guys?

Charlotte Flair: Yeah, I do.

Nikki Garcia: And you probably need someone really tall.

Charlotte Flair: Yeah, but I’m not opposed to my height.

Nikki Garcia: Yeah, which I don’t blame you.

Charlotte Flair: But whoever I have the best chemistry with.

Nikki Garcia: Chemistry is everything.

Charlotte Flair: It’s all about chemistry.

Nikki Garcia: Have you ever been on an awkward date?

Charlotte Flair: Yeah. I mean-

Nikki Garcia: Do you do apps? Dating apps?

Charlotte Flair: No.

Nikki Garcia: No, I don’t either.

Charlotte Flair: I was on Raya for like three months. Like 2016, but I don’t know. I don’t even know if I still have the membership or not.

Nikki Garcia: Wait, do you have to pay to be on it? I know you need to be invited.

Charlotte Flair: I think you need to be invited, but I haven’t been on a dating app since my divorce was final. I’d rather meet the old-fashioned way.

Nikki Garcia: Me too.

Charlotte Flair: I think my dad’s like my app. He’s like, “I’ve got a friend. I’ve got a friend.” I’m like, “Dad, sir, sit down. Sit down. I don’t need your help in this area at all.”

Nikki Garcia: And he does know a lot of people.

Charlotte Flair: He does know.

Nikki Garcia: Well, if there’s anyone that you see in a sport that you like, just tell them that they need the Ric Flair hype show and then go have them look and be like, “Hey, you should go slide in my daughter’s DMs.”

Charlotte Flair: God, he’s the worst. He’s the most embarrassing, just puts it right, “My daughter’s single.” I’m like, “Dad, I did not give you a license to say that. Why are you doing that?”

Charlotte Flair on Alexa Bliss (26:54-27:55)

Brie Garcia: I’ve been loving seeing you and Alexa Bliss together.

Nikki Garcia: We were just talking about that.

Charlotte Flair: I call her Blister behind, off TV, but yeah. Just because we have so much history from coming up together at NXT, the main roster, we’ve been in partial feuds, but never a long ongoing one, so to see where this is going and just being back with her, it’s just fun. It’s natural. We have chemistry.

Nikki Garcia: You guys have such good chemistry. You both have really good stare downs.

Charlotte Flair: Well, you better be ready. Lexi has a good one, so you better bring your A game.

Nikki Garcia: Honestly, but you’ve been bringing your A game. You guys, how you both just stare at each other, it reminds me of Randy Orton’s stares. I used to always love that about Randy. I’m like, “He really just takes his time with the camera,” but you and Lexi do the same.

Charlotte Flair: Oh, thank you.

Nikki Garcia: It’s so good. I can’t wait to see.

Charlotte Flair: She’s still mad at me for tearing up Lily, I think, a couple of years ago, the doll that she carries.

Charlotte Flair says she wants to do “Dancing with the Stars” (28:35-31:00)

Nikki Garcia: What would you crave to do most that like people really haven’t seen for me outside of the ring?

Charlotte Flair: Nikki, I want to do “Dancing with the Stars.”

Nikki Garcia: Oh my gosh, you should do “Dancing with the Stars.”

Charlotte Flair: That and I really want to be on the RuPaul drag queen show ‘cause I feel like my outfits are already there, so one of those are on my bucket list.

Nikki Garcia: Well, I think you should do both of those for sure.

Charlotte Flair: Manifesting.

Nikki Garcia: You should for sure be on this season of “Dancing with the Stars.” What are we in? June, yeah, so they would be, I mean, I feel like they-

Charlotte Flair: You and Stacy are the only two, right?

Nikki Garcia: And then Chris Jericho.

Charlotte Flair: Oh, Jericho and The Miz.

Nikki Garcia: Oh, and The Miz. I know it’s always easy to forget the men, but as far as women, yes. I feel like, always looking for people up until August.

Charlotte Flair: Fingers crossed.

Nikki Garcia: Oh my god, I’m so fingers crossed for you.

Charlotte Flair: The RuPaul Drag Show, too, would be fun just because their outfits, the glamour, the makeup, all of it. The Charlotte Flair character, I feel like, fits right in there.

Nikki Garcia: Well, now I’m like dying to see both and I’m going to be now upset if we don’t get that and like get that within a year.

Charlotte Flair: I’m putting it on the universe.

Nikki Garcia: Okay, good, and so let’s just say you got those both. Anything else?

Charlotte Flair: I’m still in acting class, just waiting for the right role or if something happens. I think for me, I love wrestling. I could wrestle forever. I know it’s not a forever job in ring. Obviously, there’s many roles outside of the ring, so right now, besides being the best that I can in the ring, it’s really trying to navigate and see what do I like outside of the ring because that’s been my heart and soul for 10 years, but when I think of “Dancing with the Stars” or being a judge on one of those RuPaul shows, I’m like, “Oh, that excites me.” That gives me those, not necessarily butterflies, but when you’re on stage, that competitive, nervous feel.
