RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair recently spoke with CraveOnline to promote Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV event. During the interview, she was asked who would be her dream match. She stated it would be against Stephanie McMahon because it would be queen vs. queen. She added that it would be interesting to see who the babyface would be in the match.
When asked about facing Bayley at the Royal Rumble, Flair stated that she is excited for the match and being able to use real life aspects to add to the build up for the match has been a lot of fun. She pointed out that a few weeks ago on RAW she showed photos of Bayley’s journal and that it has been fun for both of them to play their parts as a babyface and heel.
When asked about her undefeated WWE PPV streak, she said that it is definitely organically happened and that she didn’t know about it until a person from ESPN told her. She noted that it just turned into a thing and something that she never talked about with WWE or hoped that it would happen. “With this particular rivalry with Bayley, I’ve used it a lot more, but prior to that, I wasn’t counting them. For me, I’m more stressed about how am I going to top the last PPV and wanting another PPV.” She added fans might think that her topping her last match at a PPV would get easier with experience but in reality, it’s more difficult.
