Charlotte Flair has won every title available to her in WWE and now she wants to be remembered as the female version of John Cena, who is the biggest star the company has created since 2005.
The current Raw Women’s Champion explained in an interview with DAZN, that she wants to mold herself after the future WWE Hall of Famer.
Flair started off by stating there will never be another John Cena, but still wants to mold herself after him. She knows the biggest difference between them is Cena had been booking as primarily a babyface his whole career while she has mostly been a heel.
Flair noted that she will never lose the density or passion of wanting to embody WWE, including outside of the ring. Flair hopes to be mentioned in the same sentence as him for what they’ve done in the community.
“He’s John Cena. Yes, I want to be the female John Cena. And if people say that, then I’m going to continue, even if I don’t feel like I’ve gotten there yet, but I’m going to continue to work as hard and feel that I want to be that way with everything I do.”
Flair just won the Raw Women’s Title after beating Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. in a triple threat match at SummerSlam. Cena wrapped up his latest run with WWE at this same show after losing to Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
