Charlotte Flair was reportedly told to leave the arena after WWE SmackDown incident with Becky Lynch

As noted earlier, there was a backstage confrontation between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair after SmackDown went off the air.

This led to Flair leaving and she is said to be on her way to Orlando to support Andrade El Idolo at AEW Dynamite.

Fightful reports that the incident backstage was a heated argument and the feeling was that Charlotte was trying to make Lynch look bad during the Title Exchange segment. In the original script for the show, Lynch was supposed to grab the title from Flair and then brag about being “Becky Two Belts” before Sonya Deville would order her to hand her title over to Flair. Flair reportedly did not agree to this but was told to stay the course.

During the “shouting match” backstage after the show, Flair said that it was an accident when she dropped the title during the segment. Flair was then asked to leave the arena before Lynch’s dark match ended because management wanted to avoid another confrontation.

Also, as noted earlier, talkSPORT reported that Vince McMahon was said to be unhappy that Flair left without speaking with him.
