Chelsea Green On 2026 Plans: ‘I Would Love To Take The Title Off Of’ Jade Cargill

Chelsea Green is recovering from an encounter with Giulia that saw her lose the WWE Women’s United States Championship. On TMZ Inside The Ring, Green discussed the severity of the match, describing it as one of the toughest of her career.

“Full disclosure, I’m lucky to have hair left after that match. I was limping on both legs,” Green admitted. “It was definitely like a Japanese strong style match. And I’ve been to Japan, that was the hardest Japanese strong style match I’ve ever had.”

Despite her character’s usual bravado, Green gave credit where it was due, acknowledging that the new champion got the better of her. “I have to give it to Giulia, because she beat my ass,” Green stated.

Looking ahead to 2026, Green is keeping her options open. While she joked that losing the title means she finally gets a “day off.” She also expressed ambition for the coming year. She mentioned potentially targeting the current WWE Women’s Champion, Jade Cargill, or even pursuing a world title.

“I would love to, you know, take the title off of Jade,” Green said. “I feel like in 2026… either I’m busier and we go for the world title or something like that, or we just, like, take a step back and enjoy this year.”
