It’s official. Chelsea Green has signed with WWE and the news was confirmed by a post on her Twitter account. The rumors about her signing began to spread last week after she was seen training at the Performance Center in Orlando.
Green, 27, has been in the wrestling business since 2014. Most fans probably know her from her run in Impact Wrestling where she played the “hot mess” character, Laurel Van Ness. She made her debut for Lucha Underground in February and she wrestled in front of 10,000+ fans in Chicago last month at All In.

Green joins the latest class of signees currently training at the PC including Matt Riddle, Mia Yim, Humberto Carrillo, Luis “Punishment” Martinez, Daniel Vidot, and Jordan Omogbehin. Yim’s singing was confirmed last night in a YouTube video that showed Triple H breaking the news to her after her loss during the Mae Young Classic.
Riddle debuted at last night’s NXT TV tapings and storylines indicate that he will wrestle Kassius Ohno at NXT Takeover: WarGames. There’s no word yet on when Green will make her NXT TV debut.
