It’s a slow news weekend but here are some news and notes:
David Benoit attended Saturday night’s WWE live event in Edmonton. He lives in the area and has shown interest in getting into the wrestling business. Here’s a photo taken before the show:

– R-Truth was on commentary for this week’s WWE Main Event. I’m not sure if that was a temporary fill-in or if WWE is trying him out for a permanent position. At 45 years old, his full-time wrestling days could be winding down.
– It looks like Shelton Benjamin is recovering on schedule. He was supposed to return to WWE late last year until he was sidelined with a torn rotator cuff. I believe he’ll be back in WWE once he is fully recovered and if he passes WWE’s standard medical tests.
Repping out 225LBs easily for the first time in 8 months. Feels almost normal but still got work to do.
