WWE has a guest booked for an upcoming episode of “Steve Austin: The Broken Skull Sessions” and it’s a surprising one in Chris Jericho.
The All Elite Wrestling star will be appearing on the show on April 11th, which will air on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network for international fans.
WWE sent out this fantastic teaser video to announce the news:
No foolin' around here. You're gonna get … IT! 🤯 @IAmJericho joins @steveaustinBSR on the next #BrokenSkullSessions, premiering Sunday, April 11 on @PeacockTV in the U.S. and @WWENetwork everywhere else! pic.twitter.com/fQPzQ3QBDW

This comes one day after WWE sent out a video teasing an announcement today that had Jericho’s iconic theme music playing with a skull and a countdown clock. Since it was April Fools Day on Thursday, most thought WWE was playing a joke. This will be the first time that an AEW star has appeared on WWE programming.

Clearly, Jericho is one of the biggest stars in the history of pro wrestling and certainly WWE, but this was a shocker to most considering the way WWE sees its competition. However, Jericho had an impact on WWE and a successful career, which is likely to be the main focus of this episode. It’s also created quite the buzz.
Randy Orton, Sasha Banks, Drew McIntyre, Bill Goldberg, Ric Flair, Big Show, The Undertaker, Kane, Jerry Lawler, Mark Henry, and Bret Hart have been some of the names to appear on the series.
