Chris Jericho explains why he wore a Sin Cara mask during Monday’s RAW

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Chris Jericho interfered in the main event of the show which saw Kevin Owens defend the WWE Universal Title against Seth Rollins. Jericho attacked Rollins while wearing a Sin Cara mask in the match that ultimately led to Owens pinning Rollins after hitting a powerbomb on the apron.

During Wednesday’s episode of Talk is Jericho, he discussed the angle and said that it was an "FU to the internet community that knows everything but doesn't know s--t." Jericho stated that Cara is a great guy who is a good friend of his, and noted that Cara actually lent him the mask.

For those who don’t remember, there was a brief altercation and pull apart involving Jericho and Cara on the recent European Tour. Cara was kicked off the bus that the RAW Superstars were traveling on after the incident. The altercation happened when Cara was making annoying noises while on the tour bus, and even though people were telling him to stop, he kept on doing it. This led to Jericho forcefully telling him to stop, resulting in Cara telling him to f**k off. That didn’t sit well with Jericho, so he fired back and words were exchanged. Cara threw a wild right at Jericho before everyone jumped in to break it up. Jericho bit Cara finger during the skirmish.
