Chris Jericho was recently involved in an altercation on the streets of New York City after performing in a benefit concert for his late-friend David Z. If you listened to Talk Is Jericho last week he gave an emotional tribute to David Z and spoke about his horrific and tragic passing. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Adrenaline Mob bassist was a close friend to Chris and the two were actually texting back and forth the day David died.
We previously reported that Chris Jericho was in a confrontation that got very heated on the streets of New York City and YOU CAN WATCH THE VIDEO BY CLICKING HERE.
Jericho sent out an apology cornering the incident and explained his mind set at the time as not being the best.
“David Z was a good friend of mine and I was mentally and emotionally shattered after paying tribute to him and essentially saying goodbye to him Friday night. I was not in a good state of mind at that time and instead of ignoring a pushy (aka rude) fan which is what I would usually do, I snapped. My apologies to all involved and God bless David Z.”
We really feel for Chris and everyone who was a part of David Z’s life. Jericho was a good friend and it looks like he just let his state of mind get the best of him for a bit.
