Chris Jericho responded in a tremendous way while chiming in on a title dispute that was started by former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor.
It all started once McGregor went on Twitter to congratulate Becky Lynch on becoming “WWE’s first Champ Champ.” This led to a fan bringing up Jericho becoming the first WWE Undisputed Champion at Vengeance in 2001 where he defeated both The Rock and Steve Austin to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and WWE Championship.
This led to McGregor disputing the argument brought forward by the fan. Jericho got involved to clear the air of any confusion. He ended his opinion by calling McGregor a mark and told UFC’s Champ Champ to move along.
“Thanks for the explanation of the rules Champ Champ. But Both belts were won under the same organization, on the same night. Now quit being a mark and move along, junior.”
