Chris Jericho reveals 2.0 (Ever-Rise) have signed contracts with AEW

2.0, Matt Lee & Jeff Parker, are now officially All Elite.

The tag team did an interview on the latest Talk Is Jericho podcast where they discussed their journey in the pro wrestling business and time in WWE. They were released by WWE due to budget cuts this year. Before the interview started, Chris Jericho noted at the top of the show that they’ve signed with AEW.

Jericho noted that they did not get into the signing during the interview as it was taped on August 2nd, which was two days before they made their first appearance for AEW, and he wasn’t aware of the signing at the time. He stated he did the interview as a favor for Kevin Owens, who is high on the tag team.

The tag team formerly known as Ever-Rise in WWE NXT made their promotional debut by teaming with Daniel Garcia against Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston and Darby Allin on the August 4th episode of Dynamite.

They’ll wrestle Darby Allin and Sting in a Texas Tornado Match on tonight’s Dynamite, which is the first match for Sting on TNT in 20 years.  You can listen to the entire interview by clicking on the player below:
