Chris Jericho shares his payoff for headlining WWE house show with Dean Ambrose in 2016

Over time fans have heard wrestlers talk about their payoffs in various promotions. Most of the time wrestlers talk about their overall deals or what their downside guarantee of the contracts was.

While responding to one fan, Chris Jericho shared the amount of money he got for working one WWE live event, also known as house shows, back in 2016.

The WWE live event was in North Carolina that saw Jericho face Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley in AEW) for the WWE Title. Jericho mentioned in his response that he got paid $750 that night.

You can check out his tweet and the matches listed on the card for the show below:

Both Jericho and Moxley are in AEW where the two have had the chance to work together in the main event scene. Moxley is the current AEW World Heavyweight Champion while Jericho was the inaugural top champion in the promotion.

Up until now, AEW has yet to run house shows but rather focused on running weekly television events in addition to quarterly pay-per-view events.
