Despite rampant speculation fueled by a tease from Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, a new report suggests Chris Jericho is unlikely to appear on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn, New York.
According to PWInsider, there is currently no indication internally that the former AEW World Champion will be present at the Barclays Center. “We have heard from no one in WWE who believes Chris Jericho will be there tonight live in NYC as of this writing,” the report states.
Contract Status and “Break Down the Walls”
The speculation surrounding Jericho intensified this weekend due to two key factors. First, his contract with All Elite Wrestling reportedly expired at the end of 2025, theoretically making him a free agent. However, Jericho remains listed on the official AEW website’s roster page as of Monday afternoon—a detail that usually changes immediately upon a talent’s departure.
Second, Adam Pearce seemingly stoked the rumor mill on Sunday while promoting tonight’s card. In a video running down the championship matches, Pearce asked, “Who can break down the walls and claim the gold?”—a phrasing widely interpreted as a reference to Jericho’s iconic “Break the Walls Down” entrance theme.
Tonight’s Card: Netflix Anniversary & Stranger Things Crossover
While Jericho’s status remains the talk of the internet, tonight’s Raw is already a stacked event. The show marks the one-year anniversary of Raw‘s move to Netflix and features a promotional crossover with the hit series Stranger Things.
The broadcast will also see the return of Michael Cole and Corey Graves as the commentary team.
Here is the confirmed lineup for tonight’s show at the Barclays Center:
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Bron Breakker
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Becky Lynch
- Singles Match: Liv Morgan vs. Lyra Valkyria
- Special Event: Stranger Things crossover segments
