Chris Jericho takes shots at Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly for suffering injuries in recent match
Chris Jericho hasn’t been in the mood this week to deal with certain fans with their takes about pro wrestling or negative comments.
It all started when he put over Luther as “a money draw” following their tag team match on this week’s episode of Dynamite. A fan then told him to take notes from NXT Champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly.
The two stars just headlined the NXT TakeOver 31 event with the NXT Title on the line in a match that was hard-hitting yet praised by most fans. However, it came with a price as Balor broke his jaw in two places while WWE has claimed that O’Reilly broke some of his teeth.
There’s also speculation that O’Reilly may have suffered a concussion in this contest although that is not confirmed.
Jericho knocked the NXT stars by responding with, “Sure! How to f–k each other up during a match so they can’t work again for months. #SmartWrestling.”
Jericho deleted the tweet, but you can see a screenshot below. He also tweeted then deleted a message about Jim Cornette likely being offered to be a consultant role in AEW if he stopped talking negatively about the promotion.
Great to see that the @AEW Main Event of Jericho & @RealJakeHager vs @KingSerpentico & @KillLutherKill, increased 10% from the previous segment and DOUBLED the @WWENXT demo! Plus female viewership was up in that slot. Just proves that #Luther is a money draw AND a Sex Macheen…
