Chris Jericho taking time off from WWE?, news on The Rock

- Chris Jericho and his rock band Fozzy will be touring the summer festival circuit following Wrestlemania 33. The tour starts in late April of 2017. They have also been announced for Rocklahoma and Carolina Rebellion in May of 2017. As we noted earlier on the site, the band signed a new record deal with Century Media this past October and will be recording a new album. Also, Jericho’s new book, No Is a Four-letter Word: How I Failed Spelling but Succeeded in Life, is scheduled to be released in August of 2017.

Currently, Jericho is under a month-to-month deal with WWE and he stated during a recent interview with The LAW that he was originally only supposed to be on WWE TV for four months when he returned in January. While Jericho is in the midst of arguably his best run with the company, it appears that Jericho will be taking time off due to his other projects in 2017.
