The Royal Rumble is hours away and you know what that means. Fans are going to speculate on potential surprises for both Rumble matches. As we noted a few times on the site, Jericho will be flying to Paris because he will be on tour with his band Fozzy.
That didn’t stop him from trolling fans that are still hoping to see him in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He wrote, “HEY EUROPE…We are coming for you! See you tomorrow night in PARIS at the #Olympia! (Or maybe I’m totally lying and I’m really flying to Philly for the #RoyalRumble) #justkidding #noimnot @fozzyrock @steelpanther”
I’m pretty sure that the Paris trip is real since tickets were sold and it would piss people off if he canceled so he could make it to the Rumble. I wouldn’t expect to see Jericho back in WWE anytime soon since he is still scheduled to work at least one more show for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He’s been open to doing more matches with NJPW so we might not see him on WWE TV until later this year or sometime in 2019.
