Chyna’s mother reacts to WWE Hall of Fame induction

On Monday morning, WWE officially announced that D-Generation X would be inducted into the 2019 class of the Hall of Fame. This includes Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, X-Pac, and Chyna.

Chyna’s mother, Jan LaQue, made it known publicly that she was thrilled to hear the news. She gave a statement to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet about the honor.

This comes off the fact that LaQue recently made a public plea for WWE to induct Chyna this year and it was finally done. This is something that fans have been calling for over the course of several years especially after she passed away.

“I am absolutely thrilled. And so is my husband. We have been invited to the ceremony and will be so proud to be there and celebrate this awesome occasion. She certainly earned this, to say the least. I would like to thank the WWE for giving Joanie the recognition she deserves.”

This year’s ceremony will take place on April 6, 2019 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, which is the same weekend as WrestleMania 35.
