Fans can expect to see more CM Punk on WWE Raw in the coming month.
He returned to in-ring action against Drew McIntyre a week ago, with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, OH. Punk lost his cool and laid out Rollins with a GTS. Moments later, Drew kicked him in the nuts, and hit the Claymore kick to Punk.
NXT will travel to Allstate Arena in Chicago on Tuesday, October 1, for the first episode of NXT on The CW. WWE also confirmed a special appearance by CM Punk in Chicago.
On this week’s Raw, Punk continued his feud with McIntyre by doing a promo segment that was interrupted by Rollins. It ended when McIntyre held up Punk’s bracelet and said his stupid dog Larry and his lovely wife AJ were in his corner in this fight, leading to Punk going after him. McIntyre backed out before Punk got to him.
WWE’s website is advertising Punk for Raw events for the rest of the month, including August 12th in Austin, TX, August 19th in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and August 26th in Providence, RI. The Raw listings have not been updated for September.
He is currently not advertised for Bash in Berlin later this month or the October 5th Bad Blood PLE.
