CM Punk chimes in on WWE WrestleMania moving to the Performance Center

The news that broke just a little while ago about WWE moving WrestleMania to the Performance Center in Orlando has a lot of people shocked, simply because many felt that the best move was to move the show to a later date. June 7 was the rumored date by clearly, Vince McMahon was opposed to that and now the show will take place in front of no fans with only essential personnel in attendance.

Everyone on social media has something to say about this situation, including former WWE Champion CM Punk. He took to Twitter and joked, ” Well that’s one way to make sure Roman finally gets not booed and nobody chants for meeeeeeee.”

That comment may rub some people the wrong way but during these stressful times, it helps to have some humor to break things up. Check out Punk’s tweet below.

As of this writing, there is still no word on what WWE plans to do with NXT TakeOver and the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony that were scheduled to take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa. Presumably, the SmackDown and Raw shows during Mania weekend will also take place at the Performance Center but that has not been confirmed yet by WWE.
