CM Punk has great explanation for not starting a podcast

Former WWE Champion CM Punk has no interest in starting a podcast. He responded to a fan who asked him to start his own podcast, which he shot down by writing the following:

“So more lying snakes and unethical fugazis can sue me for telling the truth? Hard pass.”

This appears to be a shot at the lawsuit that pitted CM Punk and Colt Cabana against WWE doctor Chris Amann. The case had been heard by a jury late last year in Illinois, just outside of Chicago.

The WWE doctor brought the lawsuit forward due to the comments Punk made during an appearance on Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast from November of 2014. These comments were about Amann and Punk not receiving proper treatment of a “lump” on his backside while in the WWE.

In the end, the jury ruled that they are in favor of Punk and Cabana on all counts filed by Amann. As a result, neither Punk or Cabana will have to pay anything. The WWE doctor had been seeking about $4 million for defamation among other things. Punk decided to walk out of WWE following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event in 2014.
