CM Punk involved in altercation with a fan at MMA event

CM Punk was involved in an altercation with a fan while doing commentary for the Cage Fury Fighting Championships 77 event at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show aired on UFC’s streaming service, UFC Fight Pass.

During the broadcast, the former WWE champion had to deal with a fan who got too close to him. It happened when a fight between Christopher Daukaus and Danny Holmes had a quick finish. This led to the fan getting close to the cage to voice his opinion.

This is when audio picked up Punk telling him to back up before taking off his headset. His commentary partner noted on the broadcast that there was a minor situation developing and shed some light on the situation. He also mentioned that the fan was potentially being escorted out of the building.
