CM Punk Is Not Expected To Wrestle At WWE Crown Jewel

Fans should not expect to see CM Punk work the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel PLE in Saudi Arabia next month.

On Monday’s Raw, Punk stated that he would take some time off and questioned whether he would return before having a staredown with Seth Rollins. Punk is coming off a trilogy feud with Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood.

Punk sent a tweet to The Miz years ago where he told him to suck a “blood money-covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia.” In the past, Saudi Arabia was known to pay big money for certain talents such as Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and even Shawn Michaels, who came out of retirement for one match.

Punk and The Miz made up during Punk’s visit to WWE Raw last year before he was asked to leave the arena. Earlier this year, Punk did not make the trip over for the WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in the country.

Fightful Select reports CM Punk is not expected to work Crown Jewel. He did travel with the WWE NXT talent on Tuesday night and was backstage at the show in St. Louis.
