Apparently, CM Punk joins the majority of fans who are not impressed with the presentation by WWE for the Retribution group.
The faction is now officially a part of the WWE main roster as the former NXT stars showed off their new looks and names. The former WWE Champion has joked about the group in the past and did so yet again.
Monday’s episode of Raw saw the group open and close the show. They had new masks along with three members getting new names. Three members of the group were introduced as Slapjack, T-BAR, and Mace for a six-man tag team match against The Hurt Business.
Punk took to his Instagram story where he poked fun at Slapjack, who is Shane Throne, as he wrote the following about his mask:
“When you’re bored in catering and there’s an abundance of paper plates.”
Despite fans not being impressed by the group, the company is already building to a big match involving them. WWE is reportedly planning for them to work a big match at this year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
Of course, Survivor Series is one of the big four PPV events each year for the company alongside Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania.
