CM Punk responds to fan telling him to hurry up and wrestle again

CM Punk has made it clear that he doesn’t have much interest in stepping into the squared circle again to wrestle unless a promotion is willing to give him big money to do it.

Even when Punk started to work for FOX Sports on the WWE Backstage show, there was speculation he could make a return to the company where he was a top star. However, it’s been reported that WWE has no interest in bringing back the former WWE Champion.

AEW President Tony Khan is a big fan of Punk and while there was an offer given to Punk to join WWE’s rival promotion, Punk has stated that it wasn’t a real offer while Cody Rhodes has confirmed that Punk was asking for big money. Either way, the two sides couldn’t agree on a deal that made sense.

Punk sent out a tweet that appeared to be about WWE’s edict to ban wrestlers from engaging with third parties like Twitch, YouTube, and Cameo. This led to a fan telling him to hurry up and wrestle again.

Punk responded with, “How about you shut the f**k up and keep watching 60 year old rasslers instead of telling my young ass what to do. You ain’t gonna give me directions to someplace you’ve never been.”

The fan later elaborated on his intentions, which Punk was responsive to and it ended on nicer terms.
