CM Punk shoots on AJ Styles and people “snitching on themselves” for being silent about racial equality

CM Punk took to Twitter today to come down on people “snitching on themselves” by basically keeping quiet about racial inequality in America. He appears to be talking about people who have a large following since they are the ones on social media with a bigger reach than the average person on Twitter.

Punk wrote, “Lotta people snitching on themselves. When people tell you who they are, believe it. Might be unfortunate and disappointing if you’re a fan of that person, or if it’s your grandmother, but f**k ‘em. Good bye! (I yield my time, f**k you.)”

The tweet comes after Punk’s heartfelt comments on WWE Backstage about the protests going on around the country following the murder of George Floyd. His comments from WWE Backstage can be heard in the second tweet below.

Punk also took a shot at AJ Styles for his silence on the matter.

A fan responded, “Right!?! Silence speaks volumes. Seeing AJ Styles promote streams and sh*t but couldn’t be bothered to post anything made it clear how he feels. That was a tough unfollow…”

Punk responded, “Well. Come on. That one has been obvious for years.”

Punk’s response is in reference to Styles tweeting about his Mixer stream while not referencing the Black Lives Matter protests while several of his fellow WWE stars (Aleister Black, for example) have publicly stated their support for racial equality and justice for George Floyd.
