CM Punk has identified key competitors he wants to face when he returns. After Paul Heyman turned on him during the WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday main event, and Bron Breakker debuted on Raw, aligning with Seth Rollins and Heyman against Punk and Roman Reigns, Punk is plotting his comeback. He did so by costing Rollins the World Title in a match against Jey Uso on Raw.
Speaking with Netflix’s Tudum, Punk shared his thoughts on the current WWE roster. After praising several stars, including Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, GUNTHER, and Finn Bálor, he pinpointed specific future adversaries.
Punk wants a singles match against the current United States Champion, Jacob Fatu, stating, “Guys I want to work with — Jacob Fatu. Got a little taste at WarGames, but one-on-one stuff is my bread and butter.”
He also indicated unfinished business with a past rival, adding, “…Finn Bálor is fantastic. I selfishly want to lock back up with Rey Mysterio, teach him a lesson for having such a brat kid.”
