CM Punk’s jiu-jitsu trainer predicts a TKO win for Punk at tonight’s UFC 203

CM Punk will finally make his Octagon debut at tonight’s UFC 203 from Cleveland. He will be fighting in the same arena that he walked out of in 2014 when he quit WWE.

Punk’s jiu-jitsu coach Daniel Wanderley believes that Punk will prove people wrong. There are many questions surrounding Punk and we’ll probably get many of them answered tonight but I must say that Punk did look much better in the last installment of his UFC “Evolution Of Punk” documentary on Fox Sports 1.

Wanderley did not know anything about WWE before he met Punk. He told MMAFighting.com, “I had no idea who he was. When he came to the gym, people told me his WWE credentials, but he was very humble. He introduced himself as Phillip, his real name.”

Wanderley will be in Punk’s corner at tonight’s UFC 203. He noted that Punk trains three times a week and it’s been gratifying to see him learn. He believes that Punk is prepared going into his fight tonight and he is predicting a TKO victory for Punk.

I guess we will see what happens tonight in Cleveland. Click here to read the entire MMAFighting.com feature with Punk’s jiu-jitsu trainer.
