Cody Rhodes Admits Price For WWE WrestleMania Bus Tour Package Is ‘An Absurd Amount Of Money’

Cody Rhodes has addressed the attention surrounding his sold-out WWE WrestleMania 42 bus tour, acknowledging the price tag is absurd while expressing gratitude toward the fans who purchased the limited spots and promising to make the experience worth every dollar.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Rhodes reflected on the $9,950 per person experience offered through WWE and On Location, which generated considerable social media discussion before selling out its limited availability entirely.

“We did this tour last year very quietly,” Rhodes said. “And it’s just a sweet On Location deal for the people that want a little bit of that extra moment. What I did last year was very fun. They got to see my WrestleMania gear in advance and we got to talk WrestleMania.”

Rhodes said he already has plans in place to make this year’s tour equally memorable and was clearly moved by the fact that fans were willing to invest that kind of money to spend time with him.

“I’ve got a good plan for them this year, because like you said, that’s an absurd amount of money,” Rhodes said. “Gosh, thanks for the fact that people are out there paying that. That makes me feel incredible. So I want them to definitely feel like they got a unique and cool experience and something intimate for us.

Because when you get those moments with your fans where you can sit down across from them and actually get to know them, two of the guys that were on the bus tour last year are actually coming on my podcast. I wanted to bring a fan onto the podcast to see what that experience was like. We’ve stayed in touch. So I look forward to a whole new motley crew on the bus this year. And thank you for doing that.”

WWE and On Location have been partners since 2022, with On Location offering premium ticket packages and exclusive experiences at WWE’s major events to fans willing to pay large sums for elevated access.

A similar package for May’s Clash in Italy premium live event has also attracted social media attention, offering a private pasta-making session with a WWE star, reserved seating at a wine tasting featuring WWE wrestlers, and a front-row seat to the event itself for $11,500 per person.

Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the Night 1 main event of WrestleMania 42 on April 18 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
