Cody Rhodes Believed To Have Been Injured by Travis Scott At WWE Elimination Chamber

The Rock showed up at the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event from Toronto with Travis Scott to hear Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ answer for an alliance between them. After Rhodes turned him down, Rock got his own champion in the way of John Cena.

Cena won the Men’s Elimination Chamber Match to earn the right to challenge Rhodes for the title at WrestleMania. Cena turned heel by brutally attacking Rhodes before The Rock jumped in with some belt shots, and Scott even got physical.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted he heard that Rhodes suffered a busted eardrum.

Bryan Alvarez: “We got a lot to get into today, including the fallout from Elimination Chamber, the Raw show, which saw no appearance by John Cena or The Rock, although Cody will address John Cena’s heel turn on SmackDown.”

Meltzer: “Cody got hurt.”

Alvarez: “Yeah, he did. It looks like it. Watching that show.”

Meltzer: “I think it was….I’m pretty sure it was Travis Scott that did it.”

Alvarez: “Hitting him as hard as humanly possible, while seemingly under the influence. Whoever okayed that spot, dud e.Let me tell you.”

Meltzer: “I heard he had a busted eardrum and the black eye.”
