Although Cody Rhodes is on top of the mountain in WWE, he’s also looking to branch off into acting. Cody has previously appeared in “Warehouse 13” and “Arrow.”
It was recently reported that Rhodes has landed a role in the “Naked Gun” reboot. The original movie, which featured Leslie Nielsen, came out in December 1988. There is no information regarding Cody’s role in the film except that it will be a brief appearance. Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston make up the cast for the movie, which is scheduled to be directed by Akiva Schaffer and will be released on July 18, 2025.
PWInsider.com reports Rhodes is being represented theatrically by WME, aka Endeavor, the talent agency owned by Ari Emanuel, which owns WWE and UFC under TKO Group Holdings. It was said that Rhodes had been listed as working with WME for about four weeks.
Rhodes marks the first-time WWE talent under contract to WWE who is also effectively being repped in Hollywood since TKO took over the company. It should be noted that The Rock, John Cena, and United States Champion Logan Paul are also repped by the agency, but they’re not full-time.
Rhodes remains a client of The Prototype Talent Agency because he has had a longstanding relationship with them.
