Cody Rhodes, who has been absent from WWE television since losing his Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41 in April, is reportedly set to be involved in the upcoming Money in the Bank event. Fans have been eagerly anticipating his return to confront Cena.
Speaking on a WrestleVotes Q&A, Joe from WrestleVotes provided an update on Rhodes’ status. “I do believe he’s still scheduled to be a part of the Money in the Bank show,” he stated, referring to the Premium Live Event on June 7th in Los Angeles. “Don’t know if he’s wrestling, don’t know if that’s when his return will happen. But as far as I know, he will be in Los Angeles for that PLE.”
It should be noted that while Rhodes has been locally advertised for SmackDown as soon as May 16th, WWE has not officially announced these appearances on their programming, and he was previously removed from other advertised tapings during his current absence.
