Cody Rhodes has been on a strong run since becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion when he beat Roman Reigns in the main event of the second night of WWE WrestleMania XL. Coming out of that show, he feuded with AJ Styles, which resulted in him retaining the title at Backlash France and then again at Clash at the Castle in an I Quit match.
Rhodes teamed with Kevin Owens and Randy Orton to fall short to The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga) at the Money in the Bank PLE. At SummerSlam, he went over Sikoa after getting some help from Reigns.
At Bash in Berlin, Rhodes retained the title against Kevin Owens before beating World Champion GUNTHER for the Crown Jewel Title at Crown Jewel. He went back into a program with Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December and went over. They will meet in a ladder match tonight at the Royal Rumble.
Rhodes has surpassed 300 days as Undisputed WWE Champion.
