Cody Rhodes has given his reaction to longtime WWE agent and pro wrestling legend Arn Anderson departing from the sports entertainment company.
Although details are still unknown, it’s been reported that he was let go after having an argument with WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.
Pro Wrestling Sheet recently interviewed Cody Rhodes where he spoke about a wide range of topics including AEW (All Elite Wrestling) and Anderson’s departure. This is where Rhodes gave his reaction, which was him being in shock that it happened.
“I’m just shocked because the entire current top talent at WWE — Seth Rollins, John Cena, Brock (even), Charlotte — I mean everybody in the “golden circle,” is an Arn guy or girl. I feel like that just blows my mind. I’ll see where the story goes … Arn Anderson is a gift to this industry. He’s not corporate, he’s a wrestler, but you cannot take wrestlers out of the wrestling business. Especially because he was so instrumental too … my mind is blown. “

Rhodes is set to be back in action at the first event under the AEW banner, Double or Nothing. This event is slated to go down on May 25th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
